The white wine Heitersheim Maltesergarten Chasselas trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Julius Zotz has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gutedel from the region Baden in Germany.
Mirabelle plum, gooseberry and red apple on the nose, a hint of caramel, hay flowers, nutmeg and stony savouriness. Juicy and full-bodied on the palate with a soft texture, which is interwoven with a finely chiseled, ripe vein of acidity and underpinned by minerality.
