Tasting Notes
"Sweet" oak notes, caramel, but then quickly countered by herbal savouriness, almost garrigue-like, but also with secondary hints of damp chalk. Highly elegant structure on the palate, juicy and sinewy with penetrating minerality and lively acidity. It has plenty of tension in its fresh firm tannins while remaining fine and encouragingly gluggable.
More about the tastingSmoky with notes of tobacco, bacon and elderberry, the clear cherry offers resistance. On the palate, with fresh acidity and clear fruit, the wood is elegantly integrated and elegantly interwoven with the ripe, yet youthful tannins.
