The red wine St. Laurent Reserve, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Juris has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety St. Laurent from the region Burgenland in Austria.
It has a deep ruby colour, with an opaque core, ochre reflections, and a delicate bright rim. There is a lovely tobacco and oaky savouriness, hints of cherry, smokey spiciness, and an underlay of candied orange zest. It is complex, juicy, with fine tannins, notes of ripe wild berry, and a nutty finish. It has good ageing potential, and it is a fruity food wine.
