The red wine »Genussmensch Rot« Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Karl Friedrich Aust has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 - 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Saxony in Germany.
Bright red in colour and intensely fruity on the nose: candied cherry, sugar confectionery. On the palate the wine has a disarming elegance, the tannin is fine but radiates great firmness, a very civilised acidity underlines the spicy finish.
