Tasting Notes
Dense purple in the glass, the nose has less of the elderberry and savouriness notes that often dominate Lemberger, but is quite directly black cherry and blackberry. On the palate still black cherry, but with skin and core, medium-bodied, slightly tart, tense.
More about the tastingRich red with light purple hues, the nose is dominated by black cherry, blackberry, cassis and fine smoke, fine herbal savouriness is added. On the palate grippy tannin, plus invigorating acidity, fruity-tart, some elderberry, fine minerality, good length, has a lot of traction and dynamism, very much wine for the money.
