The white wine »Grande Réserve« Walsheim Silberberg Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Karl Pfaffmann Erben has been rated in 2019 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Distinct new wood and a fruity varietal aroma, almost like light strawberry, but also with herbal-spicy accents. On the palate it shows with a penetrating structure: supple at the beginning, then quickly characterised by intense tactile minerality and lively acidity.
