It has a vivid red cherry aroma, with morello cherry, and a lovely spiciness. It is powerfully structured on the palate with good substance, grippy tannins, and an acidity that knows where to go. It is dry and unadorned, down-to-earth, earthy and fruity, and simply "colourful sand".
