The red wine Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Klepper has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rheingau in Germany.
The spicy aroma shows notes of juniper, mountain bay leaf, allspice, but also raspberry and plum. On the palate the wine has a good tannic framework, the tannin is ripe and adheres without being astringent, the finish is juicy with good fruit. A lot of Pinot Noir for the money!
