The white wine Albig Hundskopf Chardonnay, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Köster-Wolf has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 88 - 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Floral nose, fine savouriness, notes of hazelnut, apple, pear and honeydew melon, also tangerine and a fine citrus note. Smooth and soft-textured on the palate with ripe acidity, sweet extract and a hint of chalky minerality. Again notes of ripe honeydew melon and yellow apple, good length, polished and elegant style.
