The white wine Silvaner feinherb, vintage 2024 from the winery Weingut Köster-Wolf has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
The aroma is characterised by apple slices, pears, cashew nuts and smoky notes. The palate opens with a crisp interplay of sweetness and acidity led by striking acidity, the sweetness gives body - this is an unusual, elegant Silvaner that almost shows the play of a Riesling.
