The red wine Albig Hundskopf Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Köster-Wolf has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Some wood. Herbal and savoury aromas. Also quite clear, ripe cherry fruit. On the palate, this is a rather broad Pinot Noir, with a lot of juiciness and a fine, silky tannin on the one hand, but also with rather strong alcohol. The finish is supple and shows good fruit.
