The white wine Gloria CH, vintage 2009 from the winery Weingut Kollwentz has been rated in 2011 with 93 - 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Leithaberg in Austria.
Medium green yellow colour, silver reflections. Delicate ripe yellow tropical fruit, nuances of pineapple and papaya, a hint of lemongrass, a fine multi-faceted bouquet. Complex, tightly meshed, relatively sweet fruit, fine acidity, subtle blossom honey on the finish, very well integrated oak spiciness, but it still definitely needs time. It has very good development potential, and is a long distance runner.
