The white wine »Muschelkalk« Silvaner trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Kraemer has been rated in 2019 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Apple skins and a herb garden on the nose, with hints of hops and a mineral flicker. On the palate there's great tension and phenolic density which creates a supple fullness. Straightforward acidity and slightly astringent tannins bring structure. Sophisticated and yet irrepressible at the same time.
