Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, soft brightening on the rim. Underlaid with subtle noble wood spice, blackberry confit, tobacco nuances, a hint of orange zest. Powerful, sturdy, tight-knit texture, vivid tannins, fine sweet cherry fruit on the finish, lingers, has good ageing potential.
