The white wine »L.L.L« Weißer Burgunder, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Landmann has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Comes cloudy into the glass. Peppery notes mingle with an underlying yeasty spontaneous fermentation spiciness. There are also herbal notes and some chamomile. On the palate, the wine achieves an unusual balance: on the one hand extract sweetness and power, on the other concentrated acidity and slightly astringent phenolics. But it holds together! Not an everyday wine and not for everyday drinking occasions.
