The white wine »EINS-ZWEI-DRY« Rheingau Sauvignon Blanc trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Leitz has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Elderflower on the nose, yellow fruit, peach, papaya and also some mint and green bell pepper. With good substance on the palate, compact structure, the acidity is reminiscent of Riesling - in keeping with the Rheingau - and provides movement. Juicy, well-balanced with some residual sweetness that blends well with the citrusy notes of grapefruit.
