On the nose: Darjeeling tea, pomegranate seeds. Rose hip pulp, subtly chocolaty wood. Sour cherry. A multi-layered aroma that constantly reveals new aspects. The palate has plenty of juiciness, a sandy tannin, extracts and rich viscous layers with rather ripe acidity. Good chalky minerality counters the strong alcohol on the finish.
