The white wine Vom Kalksteinfels Chardonnay Trocken, vintage 2013 from the winery Weingut Lothar Schwörer has been rated in 2017 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Baden in Germany.
The antithesis to the first to third places: peach, yellow fruit, but also almost champagne-like chalky tones and apple notes indicating initial bottle maturity. And just a hint of wood. Dry on the palate with a hint of phenolics, round and calming, coherent in structure, good-natured and unctuous.
