The sweet and dessert wine Riesling Beerenauslese, vintage 2009 from the winery Weingut Mantlerhof has been rated in 2011 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Kremstal in Austria.
Light golden yellow in colour. Fine honey on the nose with yellow peach and ripe apricot, nuances of fresh citrus zest, almost red berry notes, very fine and attractive. Juicy, elegant, the fruit is well countered by a fresh acidity structure, harmonious and light-footed, a refined aperitif, lots of fruit on the finish. It has an almost delicate sweet wine style that is only possible with Riesling.
