The white wine »Kalkstein« Grauburgunder trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Manz has been rated in 2018 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Lime, fresh pear, some smoke and a hint of hazelnut on the nose, animating. Taut on the palate, with notes of white fruits and herbal savouriness, complemented by some acacia honey and vanilla on the finish, and ripe acidity. A very accessible, clear Grauburgunder that is an excellent pairing to food.
