Tasting Notes
Some wild plum, red currant and chocolate define the nose, whilst in the mouth there's a soft base on which beautiful saltiness alongside mellow, slightly grainy tannin is built. Mild, almost charming drive leads to a finely fruity finish. Has further potential.
More about the tastingThere are aromas of sweet cherry, coconut, toasty notes, cranberry, blackcurrant, and dried tomato. On the palate it is smooth, with mellow tannins, plenty of juiciness and tactile minerality, and even salty undertones. It is a generous Burgundian wine, with good length.
