The white wine Oppenheimer Schloss Gewürztraminer feinherb, vintage 2024 from the winery Weingut Martinshof has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points.
Intense lemon yellow in colour. Still somewhat closed, yet complex on the nose, with notes of candied fruit, nougat de Montélimar, smoke and rose. On the palate, a well judged level of sweetness, texture and a rather measured, yet well-balanced acidity are all closely interwoven, a spicy finish. The perfect level of sweetness for a yellow curry with restrained piquancy.
