The white wine »Wildspontan Stubensandstein« Riesling, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Merkle has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Delicately savoury overture on the nose, flanked by mirabelle plum, peach and pear, floral notes, yellow flowers, some tomato panicle, slightly perfumed. Full-bodied and juicy on the palate with engaging acidity, fine creaminess, filigree acid vein, also develops a fine spiciness on the back palate, harmonious in itself.
