The white wine Riesling trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Michael Triebel has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
The still somewhat reserved nose shows some yeasty notes, with the Riesling fruit in the background. Notes of lemon balm and peach do emerge eventually from the shadows. In the mouth, the wine reveals freshness and substance, with the firm but ripe acidity well integrated and the balance between sugar and acidity giving the wine pep and elegance. A solid liter.
