The red wine »Rotlichtviertel«, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Michael Triebel has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Frühburgunder, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Spice and fruit combined on the nose, blackcurrants, plums, paprika, tobacco savouriness, pepper, liquorice, dark chocolate. On the palate, the warmth and fullness of the vintage, powerful and dense, fine acidity, ripe velvety tannins, fruit in interplay with spices, beautiful length and generous.
