Tasting Notes
On the nose this has a spicy toasty new oak character, with a hint of citrus, although it still seems very introverted. On the palate it is taut, and almost slender due to its enormous density, and strong alcohol and a hint of sweetness balance an intense tactile minerality. It has very good ageing potential.
More about the tastingCitrusy on the nose with a savoury and spicy undertone, damp sand and only a very slightly noticeable wood influence. Silky and juicy on the palate, with vivid acidity, a hint of sweetness, and no impression of weight, despite the high alcohol content.
