The white wine Monsheim Weißer Burgunder trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Milch has been rated in 2017 by Ulrich Sautter, Ursula Haslauer, Oliver Donnecker, Christian Frens, Kai Schattner; with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Smells of valerian and old wooden barrels. But also clover blossom and damp limestone. Silky and smooth on the palate, with mild yet persistent acidity, good aromatic expression, supple and expressive with a subtle sweetness, and all this without any pretentiousness. Delightfully "retro" in its style.
