Red currant, grape sugar, new wood, sage and thyme. Dense and exciting with lots of juiciness, fine-grained tannin, firm acidity, concentration allied with minerality. A tight burgundian wine with definite ageing potential, which nevertheless shows the typical finesse of its provenance.
