The red wine »Black Label« Pinot Noir trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Jakob Neumer OhG has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Roasted notes on the nose, plus light and dark wild berries, sloe, earthy notes, leaves, forest floor, dark chocolate. Smooth and full-bodied on the palate, juicy fruit and fine savouriness on the attack, with a mealy tannin that fans out from the centre of the palate and provides structure.
More about the tastingRed cherry, subtle hint of ripeness, sour plum, wet leaves, undergrowth, marzipan. The palate is taken over by fullness, density and substance, underpinned by an acidity that knows where to go. The finely-meshed tannin structure is reflected in the mineral finish.
