It has a dark ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a subtle ochre rim. On the nose there is a hint of liquorice and prune, as well as black cherry, some fine oak, and nougat. It is juicy, elegant, with lovely sweet fruit, well-integrated tannins, a lively structure, and persistence, and it has a spiciness and good development potential.
