The red wine Walporzheimer Kräuterberg Spätburgunder Goldkapsel trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Peter Kriechel has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
Light and slightly mature coloured rim. Nougat and fig compote on the nose. Dense on the palate with taut tannins, lively acidity, sinewy and full of tension, with a slight dryness in the tannins. The development of the flavours is clearly more advanced than that of the tannins.
