The red wine Ahr Spätburgunder B, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Peter Kriechel has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
Present wood, roasted coffee, nougat, plus notes of Assam tea, malt and rose petal. Very supple on the palate, plump, almost oily, the ripe tannins are softly embedded and a sweet fruit leads into the long, juicy finish. An Ahr Burgundy full of charm and depth.
