The red wine Ahr Spätburgunder B, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Peter Kriechel has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
Mineral-tinged aroma, spicy berries: red currant and mint candy. Soft attack, round palate flow, mild style with nevertheless firm, hand-extracted tannins. Dry tannin in a rather carefully selected quantity, clearly tactile-mineral finish. The best potential for a development towards elegance.
