The crémant Crémant brut, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Pieper has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 88 - 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Spätburgunder, Pinot Meunier from the region Mittelrhein in Germany.
A medium yellow colour with a fine mousse in the glass. An aroma of ripe yellow apple, lemon zest and bread. On the palate with a recognisable mousse. This is followed by further aromas of sweet peach, apple peel and some brioche with lively acidity.
