It has a dark ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a delicate ochre rim. There are aromas of ripe black cherry fruit, subtle hints of plum, some candied orange zest, and a hint of nougat. It is juicy, elegant, with lovely red fruit nuances, ripe tannins, spice, persistence, a salty minerality, and discreet notes of cassis and blackberries, with black tea on the aftertaste. It has good freshness, and further ageing potential.
