Dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, brightening on the rim. A bouquet of Intense fine oak savouriness, some nougat, a balsamic touch, black forest berry confit, and orange zest. Deep, substantial, pronounced fruit, vivid with spicy tannins. A fruity finish, punchy and long. Will certainly benefit from bottle age.
