Chocolatey new wood, sour cherry and herbal and spicy aromas. Very ripe blackcurrant. Dense, well-balanced on the palate, mellow tannins in a high, well-matched quantity to the robust body. Ripe acidity, long plateau phase of fruit and substance, unforced, chewy, needs bottle ageing and has the best ageing potential for complex development.
