The white wine »Alte Reben« Alsheim Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2024 from the winery Weingut Rappenhof has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Pear and apricot on the nose with fragrant notes, jasmine blossom and ripe yellow apple, nutmeg, fine woody savouriness. Spicy on the palate with taut acidity, the character of the "old vines" comes through in a rounded context with beautiful minerality, long mid-palate, good length.
