The white wine Saulheim Schlossberg Grauburgunder, vintage 2024 from the winery Weingut Rollanderhof has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
A very clear, closed varietal aroma appropriate for the age is accompanied by some wood (caramel) and savoury notes of saffron and flint. Ripe Charentais melon and freshly squeezed orange juice are also noticeable. The palate is linear, fresh and compact, with ripe acidity and very good extract. The wood is noticeable but appears seamlessly integrated, lingering with a roasted flavour.
