The nose is of highly ripe yellow fruit - apricot, vineyard peach - as well as pear and some blossom honey. The palate confirms the late harvest impression with sweet fullness, a ripe acidity and plenty of texture. The powerful mousse keeps the alcohol in check and makes for a a rich varietal type with bubbles.
