A fine spiciness announces bottle maturity: caraway, cassia vera, smoky notes, red apple. On the palate the wine still has a lot of tension, acidity and fine phenolics build up drive, but there is also enough fruit and suppleness to round everything off. More Alsace than Baden in style - very refined.
