The red wine »Alte Reben« Trollinger trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Schnaitmann has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Trollinger from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Reductive, energetic aromas of yeast, crunchy plum, red cherry, black pepper and pomegranate. All the deficits that Trollinger had are exorcized here: tightly built, bone-dry, with an acid nerve and a grippy tannin edge: this is no longer Trollinger 2.0, but 3.0.
