The white wine »Monopol« Klausenberg Meissen Pinot Blanc, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Schuh has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 94+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Saxony in Germany.
Fine and concentrated aromas, multi-layered, of chamomile blossom, yellow stone fruit and citrus fruit, sage, bay leaf, mustard seed, rock dust, wood savouriness and flint. Dense on the palate with mineral tension, lively acidity and fine phenolics. Fruity, paired with lots of mineral savouriness, it’s a Pinot Blanc for the big glass and with further ageing potential.
