Dark carmon colour, delicate ochre rim. A touch of dried fruit, fig and a hint of pear underlined by smoky savouriness notes. Juicy, honey-sweet texture, fine tannins that adhere well, shows a pleasant structure, has freshness and a certain red wine character despite its enormous sweetness, cherry on the finish, does not appear opulent like Vintage Port, but rather fruit-emphasised and vital, very good certain ageing potential.
