Tasting Notes
Clear yellow. Yeasty and fresh oak barrel notes that mask the fruit, subtle ethereal herbal notes, ripe fruit aromas only assert themselves with more air. Is this the von Winning way? Elegant on the palate, but again characterized by barrel ageing, juicy fruit notes, appears discreetly sweet, although a "Burgundian" Riesling would be best served completely dry. We'll have to wait and see what happens. The wine is certainly too young and stylistically too new to be judged fairly.
