Some wood, red berries, a delicate wine on the palate, a hint of suppleness, lots of juice, extremely fine tannins in restrained quantities. Mildly integrated acidity, softly grounded, a subtle type of excellent aromatic clarity. Ideally typical - without a single characteristic that stands out. But the whole has enormous style.
