The red wine »Im Eck Alte Reben« Altenahr Eck Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Sermann has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
Intense slate savouriness on the nose, notes of rosehip and cranberry. On the palate the wine develops intense tension, fine-grained tannin in high quantity and tactile minerality go hand in hand with a lively acidic nerve, but seamlessly integrated by the extract. Impressive!
