The sweet and dessert wine Altenahr Eck Spätburgunder Beerenauslese, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Sermann has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
Melon yellow in colour. The aroma is pure and clear: blossom honey, baked quince, date, raisin. In the mouth, the wine has penetrating acidity. Viscosity, sweetness and texture remain defensive, although the wine has plenty of these components as well. Will be long-lived!
