The white wine »Im Rosen« Hessigheim Sauvignon Blanc, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Siggi has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Attractive nose of apple, cider, Mirabelle plum and apricot, daisies, fine herbs, apple peel, not at all a kitschy Sauvignon perfume. Taut acidity on the palate shows the way forward, juicy, some rhubarb and lime, salted lemon, slender and linear structure. Very idiosyncratic and special at the same time.
