Earl Grey, lime, pear, green apple. Smoky and slatey. Slender and nervy on the palate, but also with late harvest volume and a certain creaminess in the background. Riesling spicy finish. "Lots of local color" wrote one juror, "classic character" a second, "streamlined" a third.
